Mapping Memory: Telling Your Story through Space and Place, a creative writing workshop
Join us for Mapping Memory: Telling Your Story through Space and Place, a creative writing workshop led by Community Arts Agent Jamey Temple. In this workshop, we'll explore how the places we inhabit or even imagine shape the stories we carry. Using examples from published writers and guided prompts, participants will discover how sights, sounds, smells, textures, and objects can unlock memory and bring scenes to life on the page. Whether you're interested in memoir, fiction, family stories, or simply exploring your creativity, this workshop offers an opportunity to connect memory, place, and storytelling in a welcoming environment. No drawing or writing experience is necessary. Writers of all levels are welcome.
Notes - Recommended for ages 15 and up.
