4-H Macro Mayhem
Join us for a fun time at the river front at Ballard Ford. We will be taking youth to the river to explore the stream. The Kentucky 4-H Stream Team is a youth citizen science program that trains participants to monitor, protect, and improve local water quality through hands-on stream studies. It involves assessing stream health by testing water chemistry and identifying aquatic macroinvertebrates—tiny, mostly visible, spineless creatures that indicate water quality.
