Using air-dry clay, participants will learn basic hand building techniques such as rolling slabs, creating coils, and attaching clay pieces. Then, you'll design a unique mixed-media artwork inspired by your imagination, favorite places, or special keepsakes. Bring a few small treasures from home or a recent vacation such as shells, stones, buttons, or charms to personalize your piece, or choose from a selection of materials provided during the workshop. We'll finish by painting and decorating our creations before taking them home to dry. Perfect for families, children, and beginners—no pottery experience required.
